The Laserputter is an ideal tool to define a millimeter exact Putting line. If the alignment or grip is incorrect, the laserpoint shows this immediately. After the putt the ball would miss it’s hole.

One reason for an awry putt is if you turn the putterhead too early to the wrong direction.
This is shown when the red laserpoint doesn’t move properly long a vertical line on a house wall.

Another source of error is the alignment from the putterhead to the hole. If the putterhead is held just one millimeter off, the ball will miss the hole on a very short distance.
